A group of teachers from IES Siglo XXI in Pedrola<\/a><\/strong> recently visited the facilities of IDALSA<\/strong>. The factory, located near the institute, is a leader in aluminium casting and the production of ingots<\/strong> for key sectors such as automotive and industry.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the educators got a firsthand look at IDALSA’s<\/strong> aluminium smelting and casting process. This highly specialized and sustainability-focused process<\/strong> involves collecting aluminium scrap, melting it at high temperatures, and creating green aluminium ingots. These ingots are then distributed to various industrial sectors for the manufacture of components.<\/p>\n

The tour was led by IDALSA<\/strong> staff, who provided the teachers with a detailed overview of the different stages of the production process, from the selection of recycled materials to the quality control of the final product. Additionally, IDALSA<\/strong> representatives highlighted the importance of having skilled technicians for the operation and maintenance of the machinery and furnaces used in the process.<\/p>\n
